The Recon OWB hybrid holster is designed for concealed carry. The unique outside the waistband GRIP-TUCK feature pulls the grips in close to your torso to prevent printing. The belt loops on the slide side are secured only to the leather backer allowing for a holster curve/pivot point. The belt loops on the trigger guard side of the holster are secured to the leather, and the 0.080" thick Kydex. These design features allow the holster to fit your waist size, and pulls the grip in close which MAXIMIZES CONCEALMENT.
Cant and ride height is adjustable by removing, and replacing the 1.5" belt loops to the desired location. Adjustable retention allows you to set the retention where you like it, and allows for continued retention as the leather breaks-in conforming o the pistol. The injection molded belt loops are designed to prevent the holster from sliding on your belt. The leather is a rigid 12-13 ounce thick premium bridle leather, and extends up the entire length of the pistol to keep the sights off your torso. This makes a significant difference if you are looking for an-day comfortable carry solution.

The Recon OWB for my P-365XL with Romeo sight is awesome. This holster holds the pistol strong but not to tight that it rips your belt up! I will be recommending KeyHole holsters to everyone.

This is my second Recon OWB holster. I bought one for my Walther PPQ and liked it so much I bought one for my PPS M2. I love the fit and finish and the retention is better than other full kydex holsters I have. I have told so many people about Keyhole Holsters because I am so happy with it! Now I just need to get some new guns so I can order more holsters

Recon OWB and matching double mag holster

Just like my first holster IWB set, this Recon OWB set is great! Quality, looks, and comfort are all just what I wanted. And the fit is spot on. Mine was for a G19 with an Olight mini. It fits perfectly! The kydex holster with leather back is the perfect combination for comfort. I would recommend these holsters 100%.
My first keyhole holster was an Iwb for a G30s without a light, but it also holds the G19 very well (pistol, but not the mags).
However, my OWB for a G19 with Olight mini does not also hold the G30s or mags.
And if the G19 does not have the Olight attached, it doesn't snap in as reliably. It fits, but if I hold the holster upside down the G19 just slides out.
This is NOT a quality issue though, these holsters are perfect for their intended use.
(Just pointing out where you can get multi use and where you can't.)
Bottom line, these are the best holsters I've found. And I love that you can custom design the look. I got the iwb set for one pistol and upon receiving it immediately ordered the owb for another. You can't go wrong with the quality from this maker!

First leather/hybrid holster

I’ve always owned full Kydex holsters and why they withstand the most abuse, they are not always comfortable to wear. The purpose of having a concealed holster is to be comfortable enough for all day wear. This is it. I’ve worn the Recon OWB for hours on end while out and damn near forget it’s on. The leather has started to form to me, which has only improved its comfort. Superior craftsmanship and a product that I’m happy to own.

After many years and the box-o-holsters, keyhole comes through! I’ve been using the OWB recon for two months and I hardly notice its there. I’m not a fan of IWB and have tried many others. Comfort and fit is great, concealment and workmanship is outstanding. Would be nice to have some type of easy off/on belt clips and I tried a set from another holster, but concealment suffered. I highly recommend this holster.

Love it all but the belt loops they are to small to take a larger belt and they are a half inch wide which makes the holster sit a full inch off my body in the front....

I got exactly what I expected! I own three Rapid on/off Nano's and they are flawless in comfort, fit and function for IWB carry. The Recon is that same flawless fit and function only it's a OWB holster. It's a design similar to the nano because when you are wearing it you will forget it is on you! Comfort , retention and a work of art all while not breaking the bank!! You will love it as do I!!!! This truly is a no brainer! Mitch you are the man!!
